Strut and Rudder Bearing specifications for Marinette aluminum boats

General:
All shaft bearings used on Marinettes are to have Non-Metallic sleeves. Bearings with Bronze or Brass sleeves should not be used.

Strut Bearings:

For 1" Shafts- Bearing size = 1" ID x 1-1/2" OD x 4" Long
For 1-1/4" Shafts - Bearing size = 1-1/4" ID x 2" OD x 5" Long
For 1-3/8" Shafts - Bearing size = 1-3/8" ID x 2" OD x 5-1/2" Long

Rudder Bearings

For 1" Shafts - Bearing Size = 1" ID x 1-1/2" OD x 2" Long (2 are required per rudder shaft, one at the top of the rudder log and one at the bottom.) These are made by cutting a 4" bearing in half.
